COURSE DESCRIPTION
Physiotherapists are healthcare professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the very oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions, illnesses, or injuries that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities, as well as, would like in their daily lives. Physiotherapists use an individual’s history and physical examination to arrive at a diagnosis and establish a management plan and, when necessary, incorporate the results of laboratory and paging studies.

The aim of physiotherapy is to restore movement and normal mobility functions, post-illness, injury, and deformity. Physiotherapists work with patients of all ages and with patients of all ages and with a wide range of health conditions. Whether it pains Management and rehabilitation from an acute injury like a sprained ankle or management of chronic conditions such as diabetes or heart disease, a physiotherapist can help bring back normalcy. But physiotherapy is not limited to rehabilitation of injury and the effects of disease or disability alone. A Physiotherapist also provides education and advice for fitness, well-being, and disease and injury prevention.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

1. Candidates should have scored at least 40% of marks in Physics Chemistry and Biology.

2. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum mark for Admission 35% in the qualifying subjects.

3. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

4. Candidates shall produce a Medical Fitness Certificate from an authorized government medical officer

INTERNSHIP
There will be 6 months of internship at prominent multi-specialty hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
